a letter that i received requesting additional information For Outbound spouse sponsorship

This letter was sent in after they said the applications have been paper screened and waiting for an officer to pick it up.
so i guess the officer is the one requesting this information. :-X

a) they want explanation to why the marriage has not yet taken place and when and where we plane to have it.

when i sent in the application i said we will have a small reception on our 3rd or 4th anniversary in Canada. because of financial issues we couldn't have a wedding a that time.

b) The proof about me intending to reside in Canada is not satisfactory.please provide additional evidence of your sponsors intent to return to Canada.

this is what is exactly in the letter i just shortened it but i think that's not enough for me to get more information from you guys.

Question (b) evidence provided by your sponsor of intent to reside in Canada is not satisfactory. please provide additional evidence of your sponsor's intent to return & reside in Canada which is not depended on his connection with his family such as the evidence provided that he will live with family and work at his father company.

What i sent in was that i will be working with my father helping him with the family business. I guess that is not enough evidence so what do you i should sent in. what are my option if i cant get a job offer right now.

c) As per the lease agreement provided, it states that sponsors father is the tenant and that sponsor and his mother have the right to occupy this residence, please explain where you would reside?

This question is for my wife. my parents lived in a one bed room apartment and during the process they relocated to a 3 bedroom apartment because my wife was coming to leave with them. what should i give for this. should i give them written proof of my parents moving to a 3 bed room apartment with additional pictures.

Its frustrating to know there more questions to be answered after 8 months. Can someone please provide some guidance to these questions please, thank you. :-*

Hi Gayan,

I can't answer all of your questions but I think that if it is hard to prove how you intend to reside in Canada then explain how you plan to SEVER TIES with the country you are residing in now.

I hope that helps,
good luck.

I can answer this question if its a rental ? : the lease agreement should have your parents names and both u and your wifes names as occupants on it to prove that your going to stay at this place. It seems to me that you didnt include your wife in the lease.

I would suggest giving more details on your plans of moving to Canada for example you said that you will be working in your fathers business so tell them what exactly you will be doing(if you didnt before) how much will your father pay u ( its not very important but its just to show that you will have an income to support the applicant) you can also tell them that you will be looking for a job during the time you will be working with your father (better if you show them proof of you searching for jobs from 2day) , as I said before you have to show them proof of where you will stay.

In breif you have to build a strong case , when you tell them something you have to provide evidance you cant just tell them and expect them to understand.

(just my advice)

good luck

Can your father provide an official letter stating that you will work for him? Does his company have a website - ie: can you prove that he has a legitimate company and that you will officially be working for him?

All I had proving that I was coming back to Canada was a statement from my parents saying I would be living at their house (and we had our own bathroom and bedroom) until my boyfriend arrived and we found an apartment. It's hard to sign a contract before your application is approved, obtain a job, register for university etc.. so just make your case stronger about working for your father and maybe getting some letters from them saying that you will live with them for the meantime.

This is what the immigration office said in the email they sent me.

Please note that bank account details would not be satisfactory and an airline ticket by itself is not sufficient. It has to be solid proof that you intend to return and reside in Canada when the principal applicant becomes a permanent resident. We cannot provide a list of documents that would comprise proof of intent to reside in Canada. That is up to you. However, the evidence provided must be strong enough to satisfy the officer that you plan on residing in Canada at the time your spouse becomes a permanent resident. If the evidence you provide does not satisfy the officer that you plan on residing in Canada when the principal applicant becomes a permanent resident, then the application may be refused.

i got a letter from my dad saying that my wife and i will be staying with them and i will be working for him. and he signed it and scanned his citizenship card and attached to it as well.

i cant get a job offer on this because know one is going to issue a job offer without me being present. :'(
