Additional Family Information question, who to fill it out for

I am the principal applicant and I married my wife in Canada. She has 2 children that are not mine (step-children is the term?) who are already Canadian citizens.

Do they need to each have a 'Additional Family Information' form filled out for each even though they aren't mine and are already Canadians? The immigrant's guide says I don't have to fill out one for my wife since she's my sponsor but I want to make sure I'm doing this right before I send it in.

I added them to MY 'Additional Family Information' sheet under the Children heading since it said to include step children.

Also, if my wife is my sponsor and the kids are as described as above, I would only put '1' as the Number of Family members included int he application on the 'Generic Application Form For Canada' right?

Thanks for your help :)

They do not fill out their own version of the form. You add them to your form under 'children', since they are your step-children.

As sponser, I did not include any of "my" family on "her" forms as the applicant, and I don't believe CIC has any concern over existing Canadian citizens. Yes, put "1" in answer to your last question.
