Hello,

in the Additional Information Form, the section where they ask about brothers and sisters, is it ok to only write down the city name? Or will they return the forms if we don´t know the full address? We explained that we cannot find out an exact address of my husbands sisters.

Just put as much of the address as you know, and then attach a note explaining that you do not know the whole address. It will be fine. The only problem comes when people omit siblings because they don't know the address; if the visa officer finds out, the PR application can be refused for misrepresentation. If you list the siblings, and state you don't know the addresses and can't find them, the VO will accept this.

When my boyfriend applied for his visitors visa, one of his half sisters, he wasn't sure of her birthday... neither was his brother or father (he knew only the day she was born on, couldn't remember the month.... bad, I know, lol) and the phone number he had for her was no longer in service (they hardly ever see each other). So we put down the day his father had told us, and put a random month, and calculated the year based on how much younger she was than his oldest half brother.... so it's most likely that her birthday is incorrect.... Is this going to effect us on future visitors visa and permanent residency applications??? We had all the other siblings correct info for birthday's, but the one half sister we weren't positive on the birthday.... I really didn't think it would be a huge deal as we included her on the form and everything, but we have her correct birthday now, so will they make the comparison and then question him in why the birthdays are different on the newer application?

Put the correct info on the current form, then add a note explaining that you were mistaken about the birth date on the previous form. Though do not say you just put a random date. You can just say you were misinformed by the father, or just made a mistake because you are not close to her. Forgetting a birth date is excusable.

One of my sisters attends college in North Carolina, and is currently doing an exchange program in Rwanda. Her permanent address is my parent's house in Florida. What do I put down for her current address? I'm thinking the NC one but I'm not sure.

Diving in here too...

When I applied, my sister was living in Virginia, but moved back to NY 2 weeks ago. Do I need to notify anyone of HER change of address?

If one of your siblings has moved after the application was sent in, you don't really need to inform CIC of the new address. If the visa officer asks at the interview, you can state they have moved and give the new address then. It is unlikely to be mentioned.

As for the Rwanda exchange student, I'd put her address in NC, unless she has moved out of her place there permanently. If she has moved out permanently, I'd put her address in Rwanda if she will be there for 6 months or more; I'd put her permanent address with a note explaining the circumstances if she is in Rwanda for less time than that.
