Additional Family Information IMM5406...Generic application form IMM0008

I'm a permanent resident sponsoring my husband he's living outside Canada,.I have a question about the Additional Family Information...Who has to complete it?Only my husband or both of us?

Another question is about the Generic application.

My husband completed all of his details ...At the button add dependant does he has to include me the sponsoring spouse?
Because question 3 says to don't include in the family member number the spouse.
But when i read the instructions guide it says that at your dependants you have to include:-Your spouse,your dependant child ect...
So what do i have to do about this?Any help is welcome.Thanks everybody

As Canadian Citizen sponsors , Only the person being sponsored have to fill the 5406. Since you only PR i'm not 100% sure so i don't want give you false info

The dependant is your husband. If there is many person in your application Kids mother Gparents. You have to add them
Don't include yourself if you are the sponsor

As Canadian Citizen sponsors , Only the person being sponsored have to fill the 5406. Since you only PR i'm not 100% sure so i don't want give you false info

I know that as canadian citizen the sponsor doesn't have to fill it but i have the PR...So anyone knows that i have to fill it to?

Sponsors do not fill out IMM5406 and are not included in question 3 of IMM0008.

Understand.What about the IMM0008 does he need to complete the details about me as a dependant?Because in the instructions guide it says you have to put your spouse also as a dependant.But if in question 3 i put only 1 member of family and if i complete the dependant about my spouse i can't validate it because it says that u need to put in question 3 ,2 members of family(me and my spouse).Help me with this please i need to figure out what's the best way to complete it.

for spousal application purposes, "dependents" primarily refers to children applying for PR. You as the canadian sponsor spouse are NOT a dependant since you are not applying for pr. you need to modify the response and remove the sponsor spouse as a dependent.

these forms are generic for all streams of immigration. the terms "spouse" and "family members" being used on these forms are referring to other application streams where entire families and/or couples are immigrating together to canada. as a sponsor, you already have permanent status in canada and do not need to fill out ANY applicant forms. for application purposes, you are not the "spouse" or "family member" - you are ONLY the sponsor.
