Okay I'm super confused.. ??? Me and my husband are filing for Spousal Sponsorship from within Canada and I have two questions....

1. It says in the instructions for IMM5406E

SECTION C

Write personal details about your:

brother(s),
sister(s),
half-brother(s) and half-sister(s),
step-brother(s) and step-sister(s).

If you are filling out the Application for Permanent Residence from within Canada – Spouse or Common-law Partner in Canada Class (IMM 5289), do not complete this section.

So..does this mean that I don't fill out just section C of this application (IMM5406E) since I am applying for Spousal sponsorship from within Canada and does my husband have to fill this out also?

Also for the forms that say

This form must be completed by:

you, the principal applicant;
your spouse or common-law partner (whether accompanying you to Canada or not), and
your dependent children aged 18 years or older (whether accompanying you to Canada or not)

do we both fill out forms that say this? Like I fill out my own and he fills out one too? ???

Did you guys read the in Canada application checklist? The sponsor do not need to complete this form. The checklist also says clearly which forms the sponsor and the principal applicant needs to fill up.

Also you do NOT need to complete the SECTION C, if applying within Canada.

You as the principal application should fill that form out, if you have children your children as well. your spouse doesnt have to fill it out bcs he is canadian already, so only the sponsorship forms apply to him, if you check the document checklist you will see that it says for the sponsor ( and it lists which forms) and for the principals (and it lists which forms).
