Additional Documents Requested July 13, (My wife's police clearance from a south east asian country, which is provided by the embassy only on demand)
Additonal Documents Submitted July 27

Additional Documents required October 23, and no mention of what documents are required!

Context/Proabable Causes for delay
We are a couple, where my wife was a primary applicant, since she had masters and I did not, with an overall score of 465.

-I being a dependant did not submit my WES, neither claimed the points for it

-Our collective wealth was well above the limit, but her's alone might have been slightly short.

Could someone please help us understand, what the additional request might be for?

It is impossible to tell what do they exactly was as there are multiple reasons for ADR. Best bet is to wait and see what exactly do they want.

How much time it takes usually to know the additional docs required?

Usually, right away. You should wait a few days and then you should contact CIC about it. There is also a possibility that it is just a generic note but it’s better you confirm it from CIC. Best of luck.
