I filled IMM0008ENU_2D with my wife details under additional family member.

again I have to fill this with wife as the primary applicant?

No, there is only one principal applicant - you.

your wife will be your common-law partner or spouse who coming with you to Canada.
I don't think you have to fill Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] out unless you have more than 5 dependents (which is said in the checklist)

yes, you are right guide says, you as a principal applicant must fill this form on behalf of all your dependants
but the checklist clearly indicates you will need to fill only if you have more than 5 dependants

look the checklist - it clearly says
"completed, dated and signed by principal applicant if the applicant has more than five dependants"

do you have more than five dependants? if so, yes you need to fill the form though they are not accompanying you
if you dont have five dependants, then you dont need to fill this form.

agree. my fionce is the principal applicant and has me as the common-law partner there. we follow the checklist so we did not submit that form.

im a canadian citizen and want fill this out for my husband should i write his details or mine??
