Addition of new Family member to application in process

Our Passports are with High Commission right now. Very likely that the application would be on hold for now as my wife was pregnant during Medicals which was in June 2012. Except for the X-Ray she has been tested for all other. I would need the Passports back from NDVO to get the new passport for my second child born recently.

Will CHC return it by themself ?
I have informed them through email about the new member addition to the application and requested them to return the Passports but there is no response after 1 month.

Does anyone know what would be the next step

congratulation on new born baby.let your wife return to dmp for the completion of her medical.also you should go ahead and obtain passport for the new born baby and notify visa office with the following.
bank draft of 150canadian dollars payable to "the receiver general for canada"
4passport photograph of the baby.
birth certificate
additional family information form to be completed
imm0008 form
note --you must certify the biodata page of baby passport with birth certificate.And all these must be accompany by letter indicating new addition in your family.if you follow these step you will get your baby medical with 2weeks.pls follow my instruction so that your visa can be issue before the year run out.Goodluck dude....

Appreciate shaddy , the situation here is that all the passports including my wifes and my 1st child's as well are with the CHC. How do I get them back from them. I cant apply for a passport for the new born unless I show all our passports to the Passport Authority. Its mandatory. Please Help!
