Urgent query: I updated ircc regarding my newborn and they asked me to submit the following within 30 days
1)birth certificate
2) passport
3) child processing fee
4)forms IMM0008 and IMM5406
That's all I got in list... How about medicals and pof?? When should u get them ready

Based on my understanding, I'm planning to send the following documents to IRCC via webform for adding the newborn. It would be great if you could confirm whether the list looks fine. Do I need to include anything else as well e.g. baby's digital photo?

1. Birth Certificate
2. Passport
3. Updated Proof of Funds
4. Upfront e-Medical
5. LoE
6. IMM0008
7. IMM5406E (both for me and spouse)
8. Proof of payment to add newborn (CAD 225)

@Canmah, @FeelTheBern , @legalfalcon , do we need to fill IMM0008 as a principal applicant and add our spouse , new born child as dependents in it or only new born's information is to be added here?
In IMM5406E , while filling for spouse , we will be adding spouse's name in applicant field, is it correct?

You do need to sign it ... Validate the form and it will generate barcode pages in the end of file.
This barcode generated file will suffice.

Yes fill the form as Main Applicant and add spouse and child as dependent.

Same situation here..I just add my newborn birth cert,passport nd proof of payment Nov. 2nd week...any updates how long will it takes them to respond?we didnt do medical yet for we are waiting for the remedical request..

Hi can I know how long does it take to add newborn to your existing application in the current scenario? I am March AOR 2020 and they have begun to issue PPR's to FSW outland applicants for Jan Feb and March. Since they are currently working on backlog application will they process it faster or would it again take around 6 months.

1. If the form has an option to validate, you do not have to sign it manually.

4. only the principal applicant,

5. When filing the form again, all details have to be filled even if you may have filled them before.

@legalfalcon ,I am a bit confused on signature part while sending it through webform. Does that mean we keep the signature and consent column blank?

Now I'm worried as it is specified that we would be asked for electronic signature when applying online, which doesn't happen when forms are submitted through webform. If we need to sign it while submitting through webform then how would we do that?

@PreetKaur1..... As per Legalfalcon's reply on the same ... We do need to validate the form before submitting.
As per my understanding, you should immediately resend the form after validation alongwith letter of explanation.
