Hi,

If I, the sponsor, nor my wife, the principal applicant have no dependants at all, do we need to include this form in your application package?

Seems like a waste to fill out all the answers as "Not applicable", but if that is required, then so be it.

If there are no dependents, then you don't need to fill out this form, as far as I know. We didn't include it in our app.

Can someone else confirm?

if something doesn't apply to you, you don't include the forms. on the document checklist you could put N/A beside the forms that you didn't need to include. my husband has two children, but the additional dependants is only if you have more than 5 - so we didn't include the form and put N/A on the checklist. same for the representative form. much easier that way. and you're killing less trees not printing out pointless forms :)

Hello all,

I have a question regarding this form.

First of all I want to mention that I am a Canadian Citizen (by birth), I was married in Greece and had both my children born there. I have made my children Canadian Citizens (they have their Certificate of Citizenship) and we recently moved to Toronto. I am now filling out the forms to sponsor my wife, who is Greek (born in Germany!). My wife's family is living in Greece (and has no plans to come live here). They consist of a brother (who is married with children) and her parents (mother and father).

Do i have to complete this form? I am only sponsoring my wife. My in-laws or brother-in law will most likely never come here. Perhaps only for a visit.

Your wife's brother or parents are no her dependents, so no.
