Adding Surname after WES and IELTS

Hello Guys

I do not have a SURNAME in my current passport (common in India), it says:
First Name / Given Name: OLIVER TWIST
Surname / Last Name:

For WES and IELTS, I have followed their respective website FAQs (IELTS - Put "-" in surname field ; WES - Put "-" in lastname field) and got successful results for both.

I've read many threads here there seems to be confusion whether or not "no surname" is actually an issue during the application process.

My question is:
1) Can I get PR without a surname in the passport. Will there be any major hurdles during the process or delay in timeline? Has someone got it?
2) Is it advisable to change my name now, after my IELTS and WES has been completed with no surnames? Would it further complicate my application (I haven't created an EOI profile yet)

Can any senior member / senior members of the forum please assist. Thanks a lot in advance.

As long as it matches with your passport name, no issues. I hope you've quoted your passport name in both IELTS and WES report.

Thanks a lot Varunaimar, did you have the same problem with regards to your name or do you know of someone who got PR without a sur name in the passport?

Could any other senior member of this forum please confirm if I could get PR without a Surname / Last Name in my passport. Thank you.

As long as it matches with your passport name, no issues. I hope you've quoted your passport name in both IELTS and WES report.

No impact on PR process. Enter your name as per your passport.
