Adding Spouse to PR application (protected person)

Hi everyone,

I need some advise on my case if anyone can give me some information that would be greatly appreciated

I am a protected person in Canada I am planning to marry my 5 year relationship girlfriend and add her to my current PR application . I applied on march 2018. My first concern is. Is it even possible to add her to my application in the first place?.

If so, how long can be delayed my current application until the time we both get our PR .

I just need some information about the process and any help you can provide me thank you!

So yes you can add her anytime to your PR application. What's your timeline in the status page? I think we are similar here, i applied on March 2018, and am planning to add my conjugal partner, just wasnt sure if it will delay the processing of my application or not.

For your applications, you just need to update the generic form and add other relevant forms and attach supporting documents along with the fees.
