Hi

Previously on a webform i had mentioned about the following changes:
1) change in my marital status
2) My husband has been accepted for MBA in Toronto and that we have applied for his study permit and my work permit

Now I received a request letter for adding my spouse asking me to share the following documents:
1) Additional Family Information IMM 5406: A separate and newly completed Additional Family Information form (IMM 5406) bearing an original signature. Please make sure to include information about parents.
2) Details of my open work permit application

my open work permit has been approved and stamped in my passport.

Looking at my profile, i understand that for form IMM 5406, i need to replace and upload in submitted documents. however there is no field for sharing details of my open work permit. Kindly advise if i should upload as a webform or if there is any other way to update.

@legalfalcon request your advise on this point.

So far they've not asked for any other documents.

Previously in a webform I shared
Marriage certificate
Passport copy of spouse
Latest medical for spouse.

Should I share anything more at this stage or wait should I wait for ircc to ask me for additional documentation

Hello everyone,

I am in the POST AOR stage (Feb'21 AOR). I recently got married and I will be adding my wife to the application (accompanying me) and I will raise a webform. I wanted to ask what are the documents that we should be ready with and typically how much time will IRCC reply to the webform and how many days would they give in adding the details in? Any documents that we should already be preparing prior to the email from IRCC?

Thanks!

@faheem7791 you just ensure that you have the marriage certificate and birth certificate of your spouse. the other documents will be shared by IRCC.

Hello,

I am looking for some advice and I hope someone here can help me. I think I have an uncanny case and I don't know what to expect now...

I am an inland CEC applicant. Initially, a single applicant.

My timeline:

Date of application received: March 12, 2021
Medical passed: March 22, 2021
Biometrics received: April 8, 2021
Got married on: Jan 31, 2022 (Spouse is out of Canada)
Raised 1st CSE notifying change in marital status and requested IRCC for document checklist to include my spouse in my express entry application: Jan 31, 2022.

The weird part is, even though I informed change of my marital status and asked IRCC to include my spouse, I got an email titled (IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal ): Feb 7, 2022.
I replied to the email with the information they asked me to reply to and, informed them that I was out of Canada (for marriage and vacation). I also let IRCC know that I raised a CSE a week before receiving this email. I didn't get a reply to this email.

2nd CSE: Feb 8, 2022 (Uploaded all the supporting documents based on research- forms, marriage certificate, passport, etc)

3rd CSE: Feb 11, 2022 (Uploaded official payment receipt including RPRF and biometrics fee)

On Feb 23, 2022, I got a generic reply from an IRCC agent saying that my supporting documents are received and will be added to my file in 2 business days. They didn't ask for any other supporting documents even though I had requested them to let me know if anything else is required.

More than a month has passed, I cant see my spouse's profile on my online portal. Is this normal? Please can someone tell me what I should expect now?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it's normal. They take their own sweet time to add dependents.

Thanks a lot for the reply SaBong!! Good to hear its normal. The only thing that was bugging me is the timeline... I raised a CSE notifying the change of my marital status and a week later I got an email regarding the confirmation of PR portal. They didn't reply with the login credential once I let them know about my situation. Hope this doesn't screw things up.

Hi All ,

I need suggestions below are my details
AOR: June 5th 2021
Travelled to India: July 24th
Confirmation portal when I am outside canada on July 30 (by mistakenly replying to them without mentioning that I am outise canada they created the portal)
Responded to them again that I am in India on the same day
August 15th I got married informed IRCC about the status change on August 16th and got email for submitting documents on September 15th
sent all the documents on September 21st.
Once I am back in Canada I called IRCC about the status change and to check whether my documents were received or not and they said to reply to the same portal email and confirm them that you are back in canada
I have responded and told them about my status change and waiting to get added

How ever it has been two months my spouse not added to my application in portal , But today Again I got portal email to start virtual landing process when i logged in to that my spouse details were not present

I am confused whether do i need to submit my details in portal later she will be getting added ? or what i need to do ?
Hey buddy,

I am in a similar situation to yours. I got an email from IRCC (confirmation portal) while I was back home. A week earlier to this email, I sent a webform informing them about my marriage and my will to add my spouse to my application. I replied to that email letting them know I was out of Canada with a return date. They received my spouse's application after that... since then no update.

Can you please tell me where your application is at the moment?

Thanks.

Hy my PR file is already in process and I recently got married. I want to update just my marital status. My Spouse is not accompanying and not interested either as spouse is permanent Resident of US.
@mehmat you need to raise a webform and send them the marriage certificate and passport of your spouse to IRCC. they will share a list of documents that need to be provided by you.

a medical exam will be needed for your spouse - and the process could take 4-6 months depending on IRCC. all the best!
