Hello everyone, please help me out on this one if you have the most recent info/experience with it:
I got married 2 weeks ago while my PNP application is still in process (already a month over the 90-day processing time ...).
a) I am unsure if I have to add my wife to the application immediately, or do we have to wait until the marriage certificate will be issued - it can be another 8 weeks before we get it, so in this case I could (should?) already be nominated by the time I can add her.
b) If my wife gets successfully added to my PNP application as an accompanying dependant and can enter the PR application process with me - does this mean we will be granted PR status at the same time, or will I have to sponsor her AFTER I am granted PR?
c) If I cannot add her to my PNP any more, can I add her in the PR application after I get nominated?
d) And also - once I add her to my PNP application (or PR application), is she allowed to overstay her visit to Canada (she is from EU, which is visa exempt, but has the 6 months time-limit of visiting Canada).
I would appreciate your advice and thoughts on it ...
Cheers
