I have been waiting for background check since February. I think in average now it takes 30 Months for anybody adding his spouse in total from the day you submit the application to receive it, Thank you Treadeau for fucking our life with illegal immigration. Apply for Express Entry if you can, it is totally worth it. I always say it is too late, but it is never too late.Hi....

I add all signed form in one PDF file and sent them through IRCC and on comment section of IRCC form you can just add the explanation.Hi,
I sent a webform, informing that I got married. An agent replied to me:
To do so, we invite you to send your add-on request through the IRCC webform available on our website. You can attach the following forms and documents in the field reserved to that effect:
I have two questions:
- A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents,
- (If applicable) A Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form,
- (If applicable) An Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form,
- (If applicable) A signed Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) form,
- A copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship,
- A copy of the family member's valid passport,
- Police certificates for all countries where the family member over the age of 18 has lived for more than 6 months since turning 18,
- A letter of explanation, and
- If applicable, the proof of payment.
1- What should I write for letter of explanation.
2- Should I print these forms and sign it by hand, then scan? or I can just upload them.
Thank you.
If someone suggest me what documents or check list needed to add my wife on my file, It will be great help.Hello Everyone,
I currently have my PNP PR application in process and I am waiting for my medical. I am getting married soon and I am planning to add my wife's name to my existing application.
Can someone tell me what sort of upfront documents can I send. Should we do her medical and police clearance before and then send the updated docs to CIC?
If you've been through the same position, please share your experience.
