Hello,

I got ITA on July-17-2015

AOR on August-24-2015

Medical Passed and status changed to - "Review in Progress" on August-29-2015

I will be getting married soon and would like to add my Spouse to the same application as mine, so we can receive PR together.

I would like to know the timeline for the above.

As I have heard that if we apply in sponsorship after I receive my PR then it will take 2 years for him to receive his PR.

Any suggestions are appreciated, which process will be faster for us to get PR.

Thanks so much in advance.

How will your CRS points change after you are married? Will you still have equal to or greater than the amount for the date of your ITA?

You cannot control this beyond controlling the date on which you get married because you will necessarily have to inform CIC whenever your family composition changes during the process.

In your case, CIC won't recalculate the points because you have received the eAPR/AOR and your file is under processing. Recommend that you update CIC about your marriage as soon as it happens (send along evidence as well) via 'Additional Family Information' form and they will be added to your application. They will have to undergo medicals and you will have to show POF for them as well.

See 'changes to family composition' here ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/refuse.asp

In a letter a recived from CIC, they say:

Let us know
If your situation changes, you must immediately tell CIC by visiting our website and filling out the Case Specific Enquiry form. (Click on the link to access this form. It is available on CIC’s website, only, and not through your MyCIC account.)
Specifically, let us know if:
 you lose a job offer or lose a provincial or territorial nomination;
 your family composition changes, e.g., birth or adoption of a child, marriage, divorce, etc.;
 your mailing address or email address changes;
 you change your immigration representative;
 you want to withdraw your application.

so, changes are notified via CSE, not thru anything available in your MyCIC.

you have to get married first. you still have a long way based on your AOR. once you married send cse and they will send you documents to fill, upload and pay. was in same shoes as you
