hey guys!!!!
hope u all doin well...
I will be putting my PR file under CEC category in May 2014.... After that i am planning to visit my back home for my marriage for 4 weeks...
My question is;
- Can i add my spouse name in to my PR file? If yes, what are the requirements?
- If no, then which is the best option to sponser her?
I am on PGWP and working on managerial post...

Thanks in advance guys!!!

Yes, you can (and must) add your wife to the PR application that is in progress. It is mandatory to inform about your marriage when the application is in process.

You should get AOR within 2 months after submission. After your wedding, you must send email to CPP-Ottawa office ( OTTPILOT-IMMIGRATION @ CIC.GC.CA ) informing about your marriage. CPP-Ottawa will provide you a list of documents to add your spouse to your file. As of now, the list of documents are -

Updated IMM008 form signed by you.
IMM5669 Schedule A completed by your spouse.
IMM5406 completed by your spouse.
Spouse's birth certificate.
Your marriage certificate.
Spouse's passport copy.
A fee of 550.
Spouse's police certificate.

This list may change at the time of your marriage. As always, follow instructions by CPP-Ottawa office.

Any reason why you cant submit for PR now? Whole process will take close to 12 months. and you can add your spouse before your file is finalized.

Best of luck !

You can get her visitor visa / work permit while pr application is in
Progress.

Ielts needed only for you. Your wife does not need to write.
