I sent my documents in OCT-2012 and I got AOR in November. In december I got married and I sent my spouse documents in Feb 21st to add to my application. Till now I have not received any kind of acknowledgement regarding this. Did they update status any where or do send any mail regarding status update. Please advise?

If you emailed them with the change, they usually reply with the list of documents you need to send.chandrats said:
If you mailed the files already, they usually don't send an acknowledgement. It may be worth inquiring that they received your amendments and if they require any additional documents for your spouse.

I am in the process of adding my spouse to my application. Can you please let me know how did you pay for your spouse's application. When I emailed CIC to send me the application requirements, the payments instructions are not clear as they have mentioned paying through Detroit office, which is weird as Detroit is closed now.
