Adding spouse after ppr, taking too long, please connect here

That's stupid. I added my spouse 3 months before I received my first PPR and I did call them and email them for my personal circumstance changed but they still only issue my first PPR without asking for my spouse's additional documents. So I have to tell them again my personal circumstance changed before. For this case if 6 months processing time doesn't not apply then I am kind of paying for their mistakes.

After first ppr, can we submit passport @ VFS office oy for me, and submit spouse’s documents afterwards?

No. Even you submit your passport first, they will return to you. You will need to wait until your spouse processing is completed.

From what I know, should not be an issue since the scores you submitted when you applied only matters.

I am a landed PR living in USA. Soft landed a month before marriage My wife just got her PPR yesterday (we applied separately, before getting married). WE hadn't updated change of status and residence for her yet. Filled the web form for her yesterday
Anyone in similar situation or knows what happens now ? Coz technically, she is not supposed to be sponsoring me or adding me. And being out of Canada, I can't sponsor her, although I am already in PR status!

Today cic asked for marriage certificate and other bunch of doc and told me to upload on mycic account. But in supporting doc option there is only one slot to upload file.
Is there anybody who can help me to go through this process ??
How i suppose to upload doc ?
Or they will add another slots once i start uploading files?

Is it true that we can get an additional placeholder?(i only have 1 placeholder). I need to submit imm5669, imm 5562, imm0008, imm5406, 15wedding pics, birth certificate, passport, police clearances, questionnaire for spouse and applicant, receipt of payment, medicals, marriage certificate and bank statements. I might be able to scan at low resolution but then im worried about the clarity of all these documents especially the wedding pics.

Just to confirm though is the limit 5mb or 4mb because the letter says 5mb and the cic website says 4mb?

you can get additional holder,
raise IRCC or email cic saying URGENT application no- xxxxxx in your subject line.

normally a day or two.

since there is a deadline in your case, just merge everything into one and compress the file. should be good

Compress the file as in zip it?
Because in IRCC communication they've mentioned, "Please note that we can only accept unzipped PDF, JPG or .doc files that are attached to an email, totaling less than 5 MB."

Any updates on your application? I have been waiting for 3 months since adding my spouse to my application on Dec 4th. No response other than "view dependent" on my online account. not even medical request from CIC yet.
