Looking at your timeline, I wanted to ask why they asked your biometrics second time?

It's been almost a month since my medical's passed, what the hell is IRCC doing?

I am CEC-inland applicant and they never had requested BIL for me. They had approved my application in June 2020 without biometric but at that time I was out of Canada and could not travel back because of COVID restriction.
Now, suddenly they requested my biometric.
Okay. Biometrics are usually good for 10 years. Maybe your biometrics from previous visa got expired..!!! If not, its quite strange.
It's not strange, my husband has done biometrics 3 times in support of different applications lol
Finally, COPR!!! Hope you all will get yours too sooner rather than later.
Similar case for me. My spouse already gave biometrics for visitor visa in October 2021 which was approved. And they requested for biometrics again in April 2022. But its dead silence after that. Any idea how long security and info sharing takes. It looks like in progress from last 8 months. God knows what IRCC is upto.
More update from GCMS note received today, looks like medical is passed for both me and spouse. Criminality and Info sharing also completed. Now only Security not started for both.

Most of the time is exactly 30 days. But occasionally they ask for 30 days extension, but in the end I got back after 55 days.
And this is for CBSA note.
For IRCC note it can take longer, they dont event ask for extension. I requested one from IRCC back in April, but still haven't got it now LOL
So guys, got back FBI pcc for spouse and I today.... Hopefully we would submit all documents tonight when I get home or tomorrow morning....
Oh @maghool71 my spouse was able to do Biometrics without his physical passport. I sent several urgent Web forms then an email to Accra office. For the first time since my emails to accra office they responded to go ahead without passport. So they sent a copy of his data page to us. We took the email and all related emails(the ones proving we submitted passports since March) and Biometrics was done in about 5-10 minutes. Now IRCC is disturbing us for all documents(accra office though)...
