Help please, I received AOR on first of June. My question is that my Fiancée is living now in another country, and Neither her or me can travel to the other party to get married & add her to my profile. She can make her uncle as a Representative and authorized this marriage officially here in my country, but I read that forms of marriage where one or both parties are not physically present, -even they are represented by another person- are excluded relationships in all temporary and permanent immigration programs.
Can you please show us a way to add her, and not to risk missing my opportunity in immigration.

Hi,

I have sent my spouse's files (recently added my wife to my application) via webform, it has been around 20 days already. I haven't heard anything from IRCC since then. No updates on my application either. Should I wait a little longer or should I call them directly? Getting a bit anxious lately.

No. Only I got ecopr I am already in Canada. My spouse name never reflected on my gckey.
On the time of portal credentials email… it says at the end that if you have changes to your application like marriage, birth of child etc.. inform ircc through webform..
As you already sent all the document about wife but ircc processed your application as single applicant, it is fault on their side…
I would have personally waited after receiving that portal credentials email until spouse showed up in that cic account. But that ship has already sailed and you already received your eCOPR.
Only option for you is to call ircc and inform them about your situation that this is fault on their end. And, please reopen my file.

On your COPR is your spouse’s name in the section of dependent???

I haven't received any portal credentials. I got a call and ecopr. I didn't even an option to check and verify. Anyhow on the same day I spoke with call centre agent he said it was a mistake from their end and left a note to VO and said I will be receiving a call from VO for further process. It's more than a month now and I didn't even received a call and my spouse is not added in dependent section.

That is so weird that you received eCOPR and a “call”. Normally if you’re inside canada you get a email about soft landing process -portal credentials- pr confirmation email.
Anyhow, raise a webform about your situation hope that get transferred to your VO.
Other than that there’s no other way i can think of to contact VO.

Do you see your spouse's details, UCI number in your MyCIC account.

Have you sent web form and requested GCMS notes
Thanks for your reply @legalfalcon.
I don't see any information regarding my spouse in the profile yet. In the GCMS notes it shows that application has been transferred to NDVO in Dec 20 and spouse addition after lock-in. For the webform, the response goes like we will inform you if we need more information. Not sure what's happening there. Kindly guide.

For your information It's normal to receive a call and process is not same for everyone. Some are receiving portal credentials and others are getting calls. Raised bunch of webforms and calls but no response. And many are in the same situation am not only the one.
Thanks
