You should immediately inform your visa office that your wife is pregnant and expecting child birth by December. Therefore request for holding the issuance of PR visa till the new born is added to your application.

after child's birth you need to send:

1. Notarized copy of child's birth certificate.
2. Notarized copy of child's passport.
3. 4 photographs of child.
4. Updated Form IMM5406 (Additional Family Information) for you and your wife including your baby's info.
5. Updated IMM0008 (Application for Permanent Residence in Canada) for you including your baby's info.
6. Form IMM5620 (Fee Payment Form - Application for Permanent Residence Federal Skilled Worker Class) including processing fee of Canadian $150 for child.

In order to reach your visa officer (immigration officer who is handing your application ) fast , you should send the request through Case Specific Enquiry.

Hi Mr. Wilson

Thank you very much for your valuable feed back.

Please tell me one more thing.

After obtaining my Visa can i (principal applicant) can travel to Canada. Also at that time can I able to add my child providing my spouse & baby's passport with the documents, birth certificate, funds requirements, passport of baby, fees, etc. also please tell me the time duration.
Do you have any specific documents related to the same.

Most visa offices tell you that if there is a baby on the way, you should not send in your passports when you get an passport request, rather that you should inform them of the baby and wait until you can add it to your application. If you missed this info, do what wilson said and notify them immediately that your wife is pregnant and the baby must be added.

The reason is that the moment the baby is born, all visas already issued for the family become invalid because your family composition has changed. Therefore, it is it better to tell them now to hold off on the visas until the baby is born.

CIC instructs that an applicant should inform the visa office if their family composition has been changed. In the case of expected new born child, earlier advice will avoid further complications.
