Hello Everyone,

I wish to add my new born baby to the list of dependents.

My file is being processed and I have received the AOR few months back from Hong Kong and I am a citizen of India.

I believe i have to send these documents to Hong Zong.
Change to the Application for a selection certificate, CONTRACT RESPECTING FINANCIAL SELF-SUFFICIENCY, PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD FORM, Passport size photos of baby

1. Can the payment be paid by credit card or it has to be a DD. I am applying from INDIA. Pls mail the link to download the payment form ?
2. Should we send the passport copies of the baby.. The baby is only 8 days old and is it not mentioned that we have to send copies of the passport for baby
as it will take 3 months to get passport for the new baby.

I believe i have to send these documents to Hong Zong. Pls correct if am wrong.

Is this the mailing address where we need to send the documents.

Bureau d'immigration du Québec
c/o Consulate General of Canada
10/F, Tower 1, Exchange Square
8 Connaught Place, Hong Kong

Thanks
Janardhan

Hi Janardhan,

First of all congratulations for your expanded family.

I have inquired the same thing with my representative recently and I got the below message from them. However I am in AINP - US visa holder category. It might be different in your case.

"Please note that the process of adding a child to your application is not complicated. It involves submitted photos of the baby, government processing fee of $150 CAD, an updated IMM0008 and updated additional family information forms (one for yourself and one for your wife)."

Please wait if any senior members reply.

Wish you good luck.

Thanks,
Sarayu

Our baby is only 20 days.

What are we supposed to write in the name in the child as we are yet to name he baby and it might take 3-4 months to name the baby in INDIA.

dear somsale,

Firstly congrats,
u need to send following things once they are ready (when ever you name the baby):

IMM0008 with all family member details
B-Form
Passport copies
4 photos
Birth Certificate (issued from you town office or Govt office [not the hospital one])

Its better to notify your VO and they will send u details as well.

regards
