Hello All,
I was surprised that I received PPR/RFV today. I am super happy. we are almost there.
My timelines:
application received --October 15th,2014
processed (AOR) --February 17th, 2015
spouse added -- Februry 26th, 2016
upfront rprf paid-- February 26th, 2016
medicals requested --March 18th, 2016
medicals received Ecas -- April 1st, 2016
IMM5669 requested --April 21st, 2016
IMM5669 updated in the system --April 25th, 2016
RFV/PPR --- June 02, 2016
How long does it take to get passport back?
Everyone will get their PPR...dnt worry

Called CIC today and was said security checks are currently in progress. She said this is the last task pending. CIC advised I should hear back something in 2 months.
Any idea how long does security checks take?
Also I'm in Canada and my spouse is in India. Once decision is made, will my spouse receive COPR in India by default? CIC agent told me my file is being processed in Ottawa and my spouse's case will be sent to India once finalised. Just curious if this is correct? I do not want to loose another 3-4 weeks requesting and transferring my spouse's case to India after decision. Any help will be appreciated.

I added my spouse in my PNP based PR application. Our medicals are done one month back. Eligibility and Background check is going on right now. On average, how long do they take to complete all process? Anyone knows about this? Please let me know. Do you think I can apply for spouse visiting visa from India at this time when PR is in process? Anyone, please let me know. Thank you.
