Hi Guys,

I'm about to submit my PR application - Canadian Experience Class. I meet all the requirements but I'm afraid they wouldn't accept my ESL education or foreign work experience during assessment.

I'm waiting for my provincial nomination and expect to receive it after 4 months. Can I update my submitted application with my provincial nomination when I received it?

??? Do you mean you already received your ITA and you are submitting your eAPR?
Why do you think your education or experience will not be accepted?

? ? Why would you want to "add" a provincial nomination to an already submitted eAPR? If your experience is rejected, then the provincial nomination (assuming it is an EE nomination) isn´t going to make any difference.

What do you mean by my ESL education? If you are thinking about claiming points for having studied English as if it was some sort of postsecondary education, you should be afraid because by no means that will give you any points.

It does not really make sense to want to 'add' a provincial nomination is you're already eligible and received an ITA. I mean, why would you want to have a province nominate you and then have to move to that specific province vs using the federal stream and pretty much whatever you want once you get the PR?

If you could provide some additional info about your education and employment history to give us a better idea of what it is you're afraid of?

My Canadian Experience should be approved as I have been working as an Engineer for 1.5 years in Alberta. My foreign experience might not be as I only have a reference letter from the employer and no tax or pay documents.
For my ESL education, please read this

Thanks

I'm guessing you mean that if they don't accept your education and foreign work experience during the in-depth eligibility assessment stage, most likely they will reduce your points and will fall below the cut off score? and by then your existing ee application will be rejected?

Yes. So if my points are below the cut off score and I have a nomination by then, can I use it to compensate for the lost points?

Tbh, I have no idea... that's why I was thinking the same thing cause I'm curious about it too.. if it's possible so that it will boost up the points again... I hope we get ideas from senior members...
