Hi,
If the main applicant applying as SINGLE (spouse not accompanying at initial stage of application) has his points totalled less than 67 (cut off required out of 100) can the spouse answer IELTS exam and give him 5 additional points to make him eligible for EE?
Or is it compulsory that only those who are immigrating along with main applicant can give 5 points to applicant

Suppose i dont add Spouse Accompanying while creating Express Entry profile can I just add her IELTS score to get eligibility points of 67/100..
And later after EE profile created, if i get a confirmed LMIA approved job from Canadian employer can i add/modify my profile as "SPOUSE ALSO ACCOMPANYING"

How to tackle this situation

Thanks

The spouse has to be accompanying to give the additional points.

Thanks Syclla..Understood... After making a single applicant EE profile, until when the spouse can be added as Accompanying. I asked this same query earlier but needed a more clarification.
Initially i will be making single ee profile.. if there is guaranteed job offer and subsequent ITA is received can i at that time update my EE Profile to include Spouse Accompanying? Will the Online system allow to make such changes or does it get locked once profile is created.
