I have a query
I am going to apply FSW.. I am going to add adaptability factor because my uncle who is real brother of my mother is a canadian citizen... To proof this I don't have any birth certificate of both ... Because at time in my country government don't issue birth certificates ... But I have copies of their SSC school certificate which show their mutual father ... Can I show these certificates as a proof of adaptability?
Kindly please help
Thanks

I liked andys idea. I posted the following in your other thread:

Do you need the points for Adaptability?? If no, then don't sweat it.

If yes, I'm sorry I don't have experience on this matter. For most part the CIC is reasonable though. The SSC school certificate would certainly help. If it is not too difficult, I am wondering if your uncle (i.e. the Canadian citizen) can provide a notarized letter where he states that he is a citizen and explains that he is a real brother of your mother. I think that since he is a Canadian citizen this would carry weight. Get this letter notarized though.

I am not sure do they accept school 10th certificate or not... Other wise I can't gain 67 points ... He also notarised a letter for me... In his time people don't reallly think about birth certificate

I understand that. Add a note in your application form saying that they did not have birth certificates. Send the notarized letter and the SSC certificate. I think you should be OK.

For most part the CIC is reasonable.

You seem to be Indian. If not, please ignore this: If your aunt/uncle are not too old, they sometimes have old Ration Cards which have names of members of the entire family on the same card. You may consider using this. Anyway, I think you are fine with an explanation along with the notarized letter and the SSC certificate

I really think documentation is important here, not what your uncle provided at the time of his immigration. For most part, I think just submit what I mentioned above. That's the best you can do. The CIC is reasonable, but the individual officer who evaluates your case may sometimes be capricious. You never know.

Also please ensure your application reaches before the end of this month. You don't have a lot of time.
