Hello,

I am under background verification since 3-November 2023 and AOR since 23-August-2023
I called multiple times, requested webforms and GCMS notes. All seems normal. The agent also said there are no red flags and just wait.
I just dont know how long is it going to be. It already being 18 months with BGV and 21 months since AOR.

Anyone whose profile was or is similar, can you please guide on what shall I do..?

NOC: 21300 - Civil Engineer
Country: Pakistan
No military and no govt background
GCMS notes says nothing that is to be alarmed of.: Just A34 as confirmation of Comprehensive BGV. and besides detailed information about the full procedure and

Did you ever come to Canada or just an outland applicant? Is eligibilty completed? Its almost 1.5 years. You can file mandamus and get result

No. I haven't been to Canada. Just Outland applicant.

Everything is completed since November 2023. It is just the background verification.

I thought of mandamus but i felt like i should give it another 3 to 6 months. i dont know why i am afraid of it.

any one you know of has file mandamus and got positive result..?

What you heard is correct and I am also in the same boat. My security check started from 8th March and there is no update so far. Once you see this message in your tracker that your application has gone to comprehensive security check. I have created a watsapp group for such people please feel free to join for further updates. My GCMS notes have A34 too, and my security checking have been on progress since oct 2023!! anyone have idea for that, how long will A34 be cleared?

That is the question we dont know the answer of. The only answer i get is to wait. please share if you got anything worthy of sharing.

I ordered GCMS notes and I have been placed under A34 comprehensive security screening. Everything is complete except for the security check. Outland applicant!
