Acquiring a PCC while in Canada from BLS International Vancouver/Surrey

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble finding information on what all things are needed to submit an application for PCC. I have an Indian passport and I live in SK, for some context. I have a few questions, and I would appreciate any help I can get on these:

  1. I live in SK and I fall under the Vancouver jurisdiction. Do I need to send my postal application to Surrey or Vancouver?
  2. Travelling to Calgary may be an option. Am I allowed to hand in my application in-person at BLS offices in Calgary or Edmonton?
  3. Do I need to send in both, my passport and my work permit for my postal application?
  4. Is anything else needed besides my passport, copy of passport, copy of work permit, photograph pasted on application form, signed application form, copy of driver's license & money order?
  5. I'm having a real hard time figuring out how much money I'm supposed to include on the money order. The checklist for Vancouver says

"- Enclose a Certified Cheque/Demand Draft/Canadian Money Order, in favor of ‘BLS International Services Canada Inc.’
    to include:
    oHCI/CGI PCC Fee
    o ICWF Consular Surcharge Fee
    - Enclose a separate Certified Cheque/Demand Draft/Canadian Money Order, in favor of ‘BLS International Services
    Canada Inc.’ to include:
    o BLS Processing Fee
    o Add: Return Courier charges"

Do I need to have two separate money orders for these, or is one combined money order okay? And what is the fee that I'm supposed to include on both of these/the combined money order?

I'd really appreciate a response to any of these questions. Thank you, and happy holidays!

Did you find any solution to your question?
Hi Harsh, I apologize for the long delay in responding.

Here's what happened for each one of my questions (I successfully received a PCC):
  1. The application was sent to Surrey
  2. You aren't allowed to go to another BLS outside of your jurisdiction. For me, the only option I was allowed was to submit it to the Surrey address by mail
  3. I only sent in my passport, although I don't recall this 100%. Wouldn't hurt to send a copy of your work permit (although I don't think I did send one)
  4. The items I listed were all that was required, along with the actual checklist (linked here)
  5. The money order I included was for $44.40. I had to call the postal service (I believe it was Purolator) and place my shipping order over the phone and give them my credit card details, upon which they sent me a shipping label in an email.
Let me know if you still have any questions, and good luck!
