I understand, but as I said it's not different in the two process, you could stay here in Canada with your husband even with an outland application in process. The chance for an interview is very low if you don't have red flags.pct85 said:Thanks god that I got my AOR letter today!!! Woohoo!! So much pressure released!
Again, thanks all for giving so much info here.
sophieee..Work permit issued after 4 months of...?? stage 1? This is a great news! I love to work..haha!
Me and my hubby do know Hong Kong office work much faster actually, but we would like to stay put together and I can start adapting life here as well...so, we chose to apply inland. Is always Pros and Cons
I'm glad that you received the AOR and don't want to scare you, but it happened before that whole applications was returned even after AOR was received. So it's really good that now you have a UCI and a file number, but still make sure to send everything that can be missing with an explanation letter.
Have you sent an OWP application along with your PR app? If not, follow this guide and send your OWP to Vegreville

If you sent it already than you don't need to do anything just wait wait wait
If you would like to be added to the spreadsheet (you can find the link in my signature) please let me know about the date CIC received your application.
