Acknowledgement for FSW 2014 Application

Hi All,

I submitted my FSW 2014 Application(NOC 2173) around October 10th to CIC, Nova Scotia Office. So far I haven't received any acknowledgement on that. The only information I have is the message from the courier service that it has been delivered.

Please let me know whether is this normal, that CIC will take such longer time to acknowledge the submission.

Hi,

Firstly, CIC will charge your application. Have you used CC or demand draft. If CC, you should be able to know when you get charged. Your CC company will prompt your via text message than a transaction went through with the merchant name of Citizenship & Immigration Canada.

Afterwhich, will normally take 1week to 1month's time for you to receive an email from CIC indicating your Positive Determination of Eligibility. This is the first communication from CIC to you. and your file will be placed into processing to your local VO.

Currently, some October and November applicants have reported to be charged. Your turn will come soon.

I think that you are near the neck of CAP. But i wish you all the best that you will fall within cap.
Because your NOC was one of the hottest NOC.
But untill and unless the application is with CIC you should hope for good and be optimistic.
