In how many days approximately we get acknowledgement for citizenship application sent? And we get UCI number in that acknowledgement letter itself?

But I am sorry but I didnt understand.

We get acknowledgement after our status is "In Process"?

Actually I wanted to know if immediately after applying I go back to my home country for more than 2 weeks then I need to inform the CIC. But if I dont have UCI/client id number till then, then how will I inform them?

In general you may receive your AOR letter within 2 month by regular mail or by e-mail. Once CIC updates your data in their computer system (eCAS) after 2 month or so you may see your status by log in with your PR ID. Status could be "Received" or "In Process" or could be both..

You may have short travels as long as you have some one to inform you the CIC letters in your mail box. Unless your file is in Local office, there is nothing much to inform CIC on your travel.
