Hello,

I submitted my wife family class sponsorship application (living in Canada with me) in January 26th, 2021. I just want to know how long does It take to get acknowledgment letter from CIC, from the date our application was delivered to Mississauga. I’ll really appreciate get an answer from anyone about this information.

It has really been all over the map recently. Our application was received December 18, 2020 and we received AOR February 17, 2021.

August inland applicants have started to receive AOR now. So you still will Have a wait of a few months

It really depends... It seems that December 2020 applicants and beyond have been receiving AOR within 2 months. If I were you, I would wait until the end of April to send a webform to ask. Give yourself a good 3 months.

Sorry, I didn't see that you were inland, not sure how much of a difference that is making these days. Our application is outland.

No you can't.

Yes. AOR is usually in a matter of months (never weeks) and with COVID, some applications in 2020 waited a lot longer for their AOR.

You cannot link until you got AOR and the application number.
