hello Everyone,
I am a newbie, this is my first post. Sofar i am impress with contribution from members in this forum, I am still trying to catch up on all the threads posted. I am happy to see ppl with similar circumstances helping themselves.
This are my application details
Sent appllication thru DHL to Accra in Dec 26 2002
AOR recieved June 2003 stating that my application is in process since January 2003.
Since then i have not heard from Accra office, i am worried cos i always update and send my documents to the embassy anytime my status change. The waiting is killing .... 5 years!! waiting is no joke. I feel depressed anytime I check cic website and notice that they have increased the average processing time. I watch it increas from 49 months to the present 71 months, it seem it might hit 10 yrs very soon.
Out of frustration i applied and was granted UK HSMP visa under 3 months, I am presently living in the Uk with my Family, but I am still interested in migrating to the canada because I am not sure migrants are welcome here in the UK. There are too much uncertainties with the UK migration system that its better looking for alternative. Its close to election time here, the Labour party and Conversative party are in competition to prove who is meaniest towards immigrant. The HSMP visa rules are changed too frequently that no one knows what to expect. Another review of the HSMP visa is coming Jan 08, we are hoping for the worst, in the last review, the implementation was retroactive, lots of people have been sent back home because they can not meet the new creteria. I dont think I want to put my family through such umcertainty thats why i desperately need the Canadian visa.
Now my question;
Is it possible to request for my file transferred from Accra to CHC London? and wil my request affect my processing time?
I read some where in this forum that such request for file transfer if granted will make my application afresh in London office, at this stage i am looking to reduce my time not to prolong it.
Pls senior members help with my querry.
Regards
