For someone who cannot afford to go for professional courses like CGA, CA etc, I understand that there are certain bridging courses for accountants offered by various institutions including govt sponsored. Do these courses notably increase the chances of ending up in accounts jobs?
Would you know of and recommend any courses of this kind? Give info about the course that you did.
Would you know of any other province/city where new immigrant accountants find it easier (compared to Toronto) to end up in accounting jobs without having Canadian qual/experience?
At least, is it easy to end up in volunteer accountant jobs without pay in mid-range reputable firms, say for 3 to 6 months? Or is this also difficult to get?
Thanks / regards,
