Accompanying with Family

Hi All,

In my family, I have my parents and my younger sibling. I am in process of applying for express entry. I want to take all of them with me to Canada because they can need me anytime. So, I wanted to know if there is any process for the same. They are not financially dependent on me but yes, as a family member's presence for many things, they need me every now and then and I also cannot leave them here alone.

Can some one please suggest me what is the way to take them with me? I hope I am able to clearly express my query.

Unfortunately, you cannot include parents and siblings in your express entry profile - meaning, you cannot sponsor them. You might be able to bring your parents on supervisa at a later stage when you become a permanent resident and work in canada - also must show CIC you can take care of them financially when they come here.

See this page for more info http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/ unfortunately they are only just processing applications from 2011 so sponsoring parents could take upto 5 years. Also there is a qualifying time to be PR before you can sponsor.

Sponsoring a sibling having sponsored parents is likely not possible as there are a lot of preconditions so may be an either or but others will confirm
