Accomodation in BC before arriving

Hello all,
myself, my wife and 3 kids will be moving to Vancouver sometime in May 2011.
How to find an accomodation before arriving?
I tried contacting online through rentbc.com but no one replied.
ANy advice will be appreciated.
Preferring asian community.

Not chinese but dont mind. Looking for Chinese, indian or Pakistani community. The site you mentioned is in chinese though!!

Ohh, that site is really in chinese language. Have you tried craiglist vancouver? I also tried rentfurnished bc but also did not reply.

Move to a hotel first and search when you arrive, that way you don't get stuck in an area you don't like. Of course there is a cost to doing this.

No one is really responding here.
Actually the problem is they are looking for tenants that can take over immediately and when we will tell them we are immigrations, we get no response.
Searched lots of sites but nothing...
