Dear forum members
I am an open work permit holder in Alberta, working as a live-in caregiver
In my new employment contract there is now any notes that i should pay for accomodation and meal
But my employer is deducting those fees
Is ti correct, is this how it should be?
Thank you in advance

Was it on your original contract? I would really say it is up to the employer what he charges you, but if this was not in your original contract and he put it into a new contract, it is really up to you whether you want to sign it or not.

According to the original contract (Made in 2013) i was paying, but as i know there is a new regulation from October where live-in caregivers is free of charges for that... And in new templates of the contract there is no paragraph for charging for the accomodation and meal, this is what confuse me...
