Accommodation, Food, & Travel in Canada (Newfoundland)

Hello Friends,

I am looking for an estimate of accommodation, food, and travel in Newfoundland, Canada. From "kijiji.ca", I came to know that an average 1 room with basic facilities like internet and heating is available at $450.00 - $650.00 per month. I want to know whether we have to pay whole one year rent in advance or 2 months rent in advance, or how does it work? If anybody knows about it, please help.

Also, please give me an idea about the food and travel expenses in Canada.

In canada You have to pay rent for 2 months, they call it first and last. And its good you found a room in $450. which is good.. but try to check are they furnished or not?

Can you give me an idea of travel and food also? I've heard the food is relatively cheaper in Canada?

well yo.. raw food like chicken , pork beef is easy and cheap to get except north canada, and fruits too unfortunately veggies like broccoli, cauliflower or wat ever is realtively costly..
