I have payed the online fees for my temporary work permit yesterday after submission of my application. But the receipt was not issued to me in proper pdf format. I simply copied text off the window that opened and it listed all the details including receipt no. but no images or the bar code. Please help me on how can I access the fee receipt from My CIC account and how much time it takes to receive a mail with the official receipt attached.

Did you install the latest Adobe Reader? I;m assuming you need to submit the receipt with the bar code if you intend to mail the application; otherwise, knowing the receipt no. is good enough for future reference.
It is better to have another reader such as Foxit Reader since you can save/print pages even if you don't have a printer. It will also allow you to edit a fillable PDF file.

i would avoid foxit reader - seemed to have all sort of errors and I just lost a whole form of data and had to start again!
