Access to Info request taking more than 30 days

Any one have a request for notes that has taken more than 30 days without them notifying you that it will take longer? From what I understand, they have 30 days to provide your information unless they let you know that they need an extension of that time. I ordered notes from CIC on June 6 and have not received anything. What is my recourse/next steps to find out what is going on and when I'll get the GCMS notes, or who can help me with this. you can write back to them and explain that you have already asked for the notes and they didn't arrive. However, I would give it a few more days - it's only 7th July, just a month after you asked for it, and there has been a bank holiday etc. - so unless you need it for a very specific reason (going for an interview in 3 days so you want to know what's going on with your file), just give it a few more days. If by the end of the week you haven't received anything, then write and ask about it.

We ordered our notes and asked for them to be sent via email. 33 days later we still didn't have them, so I emailed the same address that we sent the request to, with a copy of the receipt and explained what happened and they wrote back within a couple hours telling us that they had decided to send us the notes on a CD via regular mail so they would take another 1-2 weeks to arrive.

We got them around 45 days in the mail

Ok, so I emailed them asking about the delay and received the file within an hour!

But here is the concerning part...when reading our GCMS notes, I come across this -

-request letter sent: -PA: -ppt copy

does anyone know if this would have been my husband's PPT request??? if so, then we never got it (he has been checking email and junk mail everyday) and it was sent May 8!!! I have emailed Ottawa...and now we wait

that sounds like request passport copy.
