acceptance financial institutions

I am applying for graduate program in carleton university. I am planning to take loan from Tamilnad Mercentile Bank, it is an RBI regulated bank but not mentioned in the list of acceptable financial institutions. So I just wanted to clarify if it is okay to continue with the bank..
Urgent help required!!

Thank you for your reply. But when a friend of mine got the loan from credila which is not listed. But he got his visa.. and when I enquired the vfs office they were like.. it's okay to be from any bank..

I dont know more about that but to my knowLedge student have to get the loan from listed banks in spp

Then it will be okay with that but in my opinion why we could take risk, get your loan from listed bank

Yes you are absolutely right. But my collateral property is already in Tamilnad Mercentile Bank so have got no other go.. thank you so much for your valuable time. Would be of great help if you can confirm it few others.
