ACCA to CPA transcript question

Those who have applied for CPA Canada or have successfully received CPA with ACCA MRA, can you please help me to understand regarding transcript from a University. The university that my wife did her Accounting and Finance degree does not mail or email transcript. However, we have attested copies of transcript, degree certificate and letter from the University certifying the documents in a seal envelope (these envelope and documents are seal and signed by the registrar of the university). My question is instead of sending transcript directly from a University can an applicant send the mentioned seal envelope?

FYI, we got such envelope before we came to Canada which we used successfully to access the transcript and apply school in Canada in the past.

Hi PHD Stream, i recently landed in Canada and wanted to apply for CPA Ontario too. I am facing the same situation for transcrpits , wanted to know if you were able to submit the attested copies from HEC in sealed envelope and did CPA accepted it?

No, I have not applied for that. Actually, the inquiry is for my wife and she will be eligible to apply only next year. As per CPA Ontario website, we can send original transcript or ask our university to email them. So, transcript in a seal envelope is fine (here in Canada, universities issue as many transcripts as a student wants. So certified copied of the transcript in a seal envelope is also original transcript). So you should be okay to send transcript in a seal envelope.

ACCA AND CPA CANADA MRA - WHAT YOU WILL NEED

here is the excerpt from the link: "...Original university transcripts confirming you have a degree, these must be originals or sent via email to CPA Ontario directly from the institutions to ITAregistration@cpaontario.ca...."

".... CPA Ontario cannot accept emailed letters of good standing and transcripts from the applicant directly; Physical document(s) mailed by the applicant will be accepted if unopened."
