ACCA Not worth it in Canada

Last week, i remember arguing with someone, who had an opinion about ACCA in Canada.
He explained to me, without much knowledge, which was clearly evident from his arguments, that ACCA is infact not recognized in Canada.

Maybe it's time people like him grow up. Apparently, he had was a CA in Pakistan, had completed CIA and CFA. Not impressed.
Anyone, and everyone should confirm their facts before posting opinions here, because some people actually base their very important decisions on the opinions of people posting in this forum.

someone here suggested me going for CFA...actually i really dont have idea which institute is offerin CFA in canada...regarding ACCA i know these two institutes lsbf and stoufville are offering....can someone tell which institute is offering CFA?

I remember ur case. Doing ACCA after MBA Finance, right?
Whoever suggested CFA was right. It is in much more demand than ACCA. CFA's are highly regarded everywhere.
I think LSBF also offers CFA. Infact, the Birmingham campus does. I am sure the Toronto campus does it too. Check with the consultant on the phone lines of LSBF.
CFA is quite hard though, its altogether a different game compared to ACCA.
