ACCA in Canada

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me if the ACCA UK is accredited in Canada? , I have heard it would be easy to get the Canadian CPA for those who have the ACCA, is that correct ?
I actually have the CMA (Certified management accountant) certificate from US which gives me 7 papers exempted from the ACCA , I am thinking to complete studying the ACCA or at least start with it before moving to Canada as a federal skilled worker within the next couple of years.

Can anyone advice or help me to make up my mind clearly?

Well I'v also heard about ACCA being accredited in Canada but not sure about the news authenticity. Getting the Canadian CPA will not be so easy as it seems, you'll be needing to complete not only ACCA but after that be a member of that as well to get CPA-BC. And as far as moving to Canada is concerned in my opinion you should be focusing on some Canadian certificates/qualification, it's better to spend your precious time, energy and finances in that education.
