a bit off topic but I need help from experienced peoples

I want to apply for immigration to canada. I am acca Finalist but I have achieved the Oxford Brookes BSc Hons degree in applied accounting. Can I apply for Canada?? how will i get my degree accessed through ECA system,??

Dear members,


I would like to know the procedure of obtaining CPA canada. My wife is an ACCA member , is BCOM( Bachelors of commerce) from Madras University. Would like to know how to obtain CPA. As per CGA we need to contact the CPA body in the province that we plan to migrate. As of now we are still awaiting our PNP.Using the WES Equivalency tool my wife's bachelor degree is showing Community college diploma can she apply for CPA.
Any inputs is highly appreciable.

Dear kenyk,
If u have already landed in canada then u can apply to loca cpa chapter. If u havent, then uneed to contact cpa british columbia. Please write email to them they will reply u with all the guidelines. The steps i followed were as follows;
1. Wrote email to british columbia
2. Have my bachelor in business (3 years program) assesses from WES canada. This assessment is different to the one we do for immigration purpose.
3. Emailed initial application form to cpa british col.
4. Emailed wes report and acca member is good standing letter (acca will email directly)
5. Rest process will be known onceu have correspondence with them.

Please make sure these are done before end of this month as cga-acca mra will expire in june 2016 and i mnot sure whether they will renew or not.

I am ACCA Member and have done 2 years bachelors B.com from pakistan. As per my knowledge, in order to become a CPA member, one must have 3 years bachelors. can you please guide ma whether is there any process to apply for CPA membership with 2 years bachelors?.

As I have already applied for ECA from WES and I believe that WES consider B.com as 2 years diploma.

Please need your urgent help in this regard.
