how is that linked to CPA?

After reading your comments, i understand that you have ACCA + Masters but no Bachelors am I right ?

Yes that's what my point is. Since most ppl don't have a bachelors degree along with ACCA which is a prerequisite for CPA. If that's the case you guys can apply for MSC. Hence, you can be eligible for MRS between ACCA and CPA

I have ACCA + Masters but I guess its not good enough for MRA they are asking for 4 years Bachelors degree, I have got PR on basis of Masters but CPA is not accepting it :(

Me too. We will get exempted from the prep courses but will have to do the 7 main courses. To me it's just like doing ACCA all over again. I'm still hoping I find a job that will accept ACCA but unfortunately when I spoke to Canadians most do not know what ACCA is

you should email CPA directly and ask them if they will accept that

Hi all, can any one help with this. I have landed in Canada and looking to convert my ACCA to CPA. I am FCCA and also CA from ICAP. I also have 2 years Bachelors of Commerce and 2 years of Masters in Economics. Can any one tell me what prospects i have to get the conversion?

I can also see that they have asked for transcripts sent by Univeristy to them, i have done my bachelors and Masters from University of Karachi, i can see there are people here who have done it from there. Can you please tell me the process of getting the transcripts from KU and how it can be sent to CPA directly? I dont know how good KU is to send these directly overseas?

Thanks

Anyone can please explain what's the further process by CPABC after documents acceptance and sending them two notarized IDs with membership application form under MRA?

hi, you have to contact CPA first and they will direct you as to whether you will be exempted and what part you can take. From my experience, they are not the most user friendly but you should still try

If you have OBU Degree and ACCA Member. That qualifies as the complete prerequisites to get the CGA qualification?

Hi Rehan,

I have a University degree, but in Industrial Chemistry; and I am about attempting my final ACCA papers, though I got exemptions for F1-F9. Am I eligible for MRA?

You have to be an ACCA member to go through MRA. A letter from ACCA is required that you didn't qualify ACCA by any exemption route. I think you should wait until you become member then check with CPA regarding eligibility.

Has anyone who is already full member of ACCA applied. If yes, did you just send university's transcript or transcript+degree certificate, through the university.
