I didn't get that applied in UAE in May. Biometrics in July in India and after 18 days got PPR.

Can u please explain how could it happen and why Biometrics in India if Application submitted in UAE

How do you know a ghost update.
I applied 2nd time via portal on 11th Sep for tourist visa, everything in my application says submitted still.

When you login GCKEY, In status it says Application/Profile Updated, When you check there is nothing updated.
