I will try from my home country again. My reason to choose Canada was the easy option to legally attain PR. Above listed countries would be very difficult.

Better apply in you country! Saw 6 refusals within the week! Sometimes i want to call my uncle Trudeau hehehehe to complain

As per the application status update today, there is a flat 12 weeks processing time and no country specific timeframe anymore.
Thanks for the good news bro.

Do you think the already submitted applications will be processed in 12 weeks? or they mean the future applications?
after some days my application will complete 12 weeks in processing.

Not sure bro

They also mention "If we receive your complete study permit application by May 15, 2021, you’ll get a decision by August 6, 2021, in time to attend the fall semester." which makes it sound like we may have to wait until August

Honestly, I find zero logic in establishing current employment status. Anyone who wants to study full time irrespective of the country has to resign and focus on this. A masters takes 2 years and no employer will guarantee if they will keep that job waiting for you. I work in hospitality & considering they were talking about UAE and saying there wont be enough opportunity is a laughing joke. Do they even do some research before making such comments ?
Are you planning to challenge the decision?

No, it's very easy to get a Study Permit from the mentioned countries when compared to Canada, and once your in-country I am sure you can make it up to PR.

Alright, Ill try to research on above countries and see where it goes.

No point. knowing how inefficient IRCC is right now(more so AUH office), I wouldn't want to waste my time. I would just reapply from India.
R u applying for GCMS Notes? if so applying through CBSA instead of IRCC. I heard CBSA does better service than IRCC.
