PPR said to send to Abu Dhabi but I sent to riyadh embassy in ksa as I live and work here. Anyone in same situation ? Been 2 days .

Nothing yet, tomorrow will be a month since the embassy has my passport and will visit VFS and the embassy to find out why they are taking so long.

How can we go to the embassy. Do they entertain public visiting them! I know VFS will not assist us rather than saying that it takes 30 working days. Is your account approved?

With the tracking document VFS has provided, you do have one right?
I mean they have to provide us with a response since my UAE visa will expire very soon and I will have to have the country- passport required for that!
When I called VFS last time they suggested I find out from the embassy directly since VFS are more or less a courier service.
CIC not yet updated either.

Where is the embassy Is it in Abu Dhabi? I am in Dubai and cannot travel so far, just to understand the status. Dropped an email to

Yup I have sent a mail as well last week Wednesday but no response yet. They are located within the Abu Dhabi mall.

Yes our passports can be withdrawn from the embassy which will take VFS 4/5 business days Ince we fill the withdrawal form and the PR process will be ongoing w/o our passports at the embassy. When the process is finalized they will ask for our passports back again according to the VFS agent today.
